Our story

Solana Research Library began in 2021 when a group of researchers in Manchester noticed a gap between Solana’s rapid technical development and the quality of accessible, independent educational material. What started as shared reading notes among colleagues became a small editorial operation publishing long-form explainers and offering commissioned briefings to readers who needed deeper context.

We are not affiliated with Solana Labs, the Solana Foundation, or any validator operator. Our work is funded through research commissions and editorial subscriptions to our written materials.

What we do

We research, write, and present educational analysis on Solana network architecture, consensus mechanics, wallet security, staking economics, and ecosystem developments. Our output is designed for readers who want to understand how the network works — not for those seeking trading signals or investment advice.

Our approach

Every piece of research begins with primary sources: protocol documentation, on-chain data, and direct observation of network behaviour. We cite our sources, distinguish between established fact and informed interpretation, and update our materials when the network changes.

We work with a small core team of three researchers and two contributing editors, all based in the United Kingdom. Sessions are delivered by senior researchers with at least two years of focused Solana study.

Working with clients

Most engagements begin with a brief email exchange. We scope the work, agree a fee, and deliver on the timeline we commit to. We do not use high-pressure sales tactics or create artificial urgency around network events.
